I don't think 2 is difficult in 'all the wrong ways'. The gameplay is just different than the original and the difficulty is adjusted accordingly for the most part. If you go into it with the mindset of playing it like the original, you're going to have a very hard time with it and it won't be the game's fault.

I also do think that 2 is more difficult than the original, which had some really broken gameplay mechanics like a retarded amount of i-frames in rolls and piss easy backstabs.

I finished it and while the gunplay was great the retarded large amount of intrusive cutscenes hurt the experience a lot and you cant even skip the cutscenes. It tells you press X button to skip it but it never skips anything. Every single time I started to move around I ran for 10 seconds and a new cutscene kicked in. It got extremely obnoxious. It was a 7/10 game for me.

I bought Mystery Chronicles: One Way Heroics, thinking that it would be a good expansion on OWH+. The screen crunch was too annoying for me to get over with it, and I stopped playing it. It was on the PS4, so unless you can get refunds, that was $15 bucks wasted.
