Xcom enemy within or Xcom 2 Which one should I actually get and why?

PC or console? I dunno how much they butchered the console version of 2, so buyer beware.

Xcom 2. It's more fleshed out. Just don't buy into the LW2 meme. Long War fixed issues that XCOM had, but 2 doesn't have those issues.

Do you even know if you'll like the games?

XCOM EU is cheaper and would be a better choice for a first buyer.

XCOM 2 is great and has more mods, but is also incomplete (expansion is coming in a six weeks) and more expensive.

I liked EW a lot more. The campaign was better, the units were more fun, and just stylistically appealed to me more.

I only played vanilla XCOM 2 though. Maybe with the expansion it's getting (or already got?) it's a lot better.

I have xbox one and I'm thinking of either getting xcom enemy within or xcom two but seeing how there are dlc being introduced to xcom two and how it is almost 80 dollars I'm leaning towards xcom enemy within.

Is xcom enemy within has issues and other problems the xcom enemy unknown had?
