Is there a game as fun as TF2?

I don't understand how people enjoy doing absolutely nothing, I can't imagine how sad and empty their life must be to decide turning on their computers, start tf2, get into a server and just stand there like a retard.

these "people" just join a server on a map that will kill them every few seconds to farm items, you got certain amount of items you can get in drop in a week and they reset every week, these items can be scrapped into metal that can be used for trading, if they got a decent item in a drop these can be traded for another item, goal of these "players" is to get some really expensive item that will justify their wasted hours
