Yes. Untold 1 and EO4 are very good startingpoints for newbies. I started with Untold 2 but that was because the story of the fafnir knight caught my interest

How do i know if my screen is TN or IPS?

I was watching youtube videos and my screen is somewhere in the middle.

It is not bright and colorful like the IPS and nowhere close like the abomination that is TN.

I didn't change any screen settings since i got it.

To be completely honest, all the past console launches were fucking disastrous. The switch actually has such a good launch line up and even better games coming out later this year. I really want to buy one for Mario Oddissey's release date, but I might end up waiting to see what games it has coming up next year, I don't want to get tricked by nintendo's first year support.

iunno, i've recently branched out, so i'm fairly diverse in terms of game taste. going just by what i assume most of the 3ds library is like, i like rpgs if they can grasp me, but i didn't like a lot of the final fantasy games because i feel they weren't interesting enough to warrant suffering through the combat systems which i for the most part find boring unless it has some gimmick like paper mario or undertale even. i like vn's well enough if it's not stupid cliche anime shit. i like arpg's, shooters. i guess to list some nintendo games that i liked, i liked paper mario, animal crossing for gamecube, etrian odyssey for ds i forgot which one probably 3, and nightmare in dreamland which was gba

Paper Mario Sticker Stars shortcomings was down to the battle mechanic. It's just completely useless. It's a shame because the music and visuals are great.

Wii U is done. They don't make units any more and there are no games coming out for it besides maybe Just Dance. It has a great library though.

I don't have a Switch yet but I want one. It's clearly going to be a fantastic system based on the already announced lineup plus the fact that all Nintendo developments teams are going to work on it rather than being broken up to work on a console and a handheld.

The game can barely hold 30 fps with 2 mons and 2 trainers on screen, in double battles the game shits itself (they even removed triple battles because of unplayable fps drops).
Game Freak is using super detailed assets because they're too lazy to downgrade them for the 3ds.

in the browser. The IPS is even less color accurate than the TN, and crushes far more blacks. You won't be able to spot differences til like 9+, while the TN can distinguish them from 4+. People tend to subjectively prefer the darker look of the IPS, but this can make games that are already really dark a real pain in the ass. Luckily there aren't many.

I am deeply depressed. The RT button of my N3DS (the "new" shoulder button) is stuck. As in, it is always active, and pressing it makes no difference. The other right shoulder button doesn't work.

I've done all I can to fix this. I blew into it deeply. I put fluid inside. Nothing does the trick.

Oh woe. Oh woe. What can I do? Are there any games that don't require me to use these buttons?

Playing FE Echoes and Ever Oasis, just found the Sol in Echoes so I'm pretty happy about that (less than 1% rate in the final floor of Thabes).
Not getting a 2DS XL, TN screens and a cheap build. Also I use the 3D because without it the screen looks dull as fuck.
