I stopped before the new class with the gold shit was added and the sky island looking location. I left around level 50 IIRC after getting the gear from the Ancient Ent event quest.

For the most part, it's lazy. Padding out the magic system with boring temporary stat boosts.
Sometimes they do something interesting with it. Something that makes you think about how you can combine it with other spells and abilities. But if it's just shit like STR+10 for 1 minute or armour +10 for 30 seconds, it needs to fuck off and the devs need to put some fucking effort in.
