Well here was my logic behind it.
A vermin with 8 fast with basically attack twice against non speed vermin right?
A battle usually goes on for at least 10 turns, so there therefore I'm just getting back the 10 attacks I am missing on.
Now most Abilities add more then 5 stats as they stack so I thought using blases would even out with a +7-10 stat boost.
Take into consideration that my vermin is 5 stats short and is not getting any benefits trough out the whole fight so he is going to be losing hard to the very end where his opponent will not only have and advantage, but also be boosted to the max if he has a scaling ability giving him up to 10 extra stat points.
