Zero waifus

The artstyle and character designs are very generic to me, and the characters themselves apparently are very similar (if not downright identical) to existing Smash fighters.
Sound design is atrocious too, but maybe that will change since the footage is claimed to be pre-alpha.

The only good thing about this is, like rivals, it's not tethered to Nintendo's autistic ass.
But instead the devs are inept and won't listen when everyone was saying how the character designs are wannabe MOBA-tier trash.

I would literally prefer no character designs and no attempt at backstory and everything just be solid colored or patterned masses of polygons. This game is made for people who want responsive multiplayer melee-style combat on PC; it doesn't star Nintendo IPs that I know and love, so just be honest and don't try to start some kind of story that you 100% know will not take off.
