The whole game is shit sidequests. The handful of good ones lead to the same reward.

You get all the necessary items (in the form of Runes) right at the beginning of the game. Everything else are consumable weapons in a sandbox. There is literally nothing to get as a reward except for money. Horse armor rewards are just a pointless skin like in Oblivion. What would have been nice is to have the Champion weapons rechargeable and a little bit stronger, since they're pretty pointless late game.
