Flawed masterpiece

I like the pace of the combat, how it's both plodding and intense. Too bad every single gun in the game feels like dogshit.

Nah, the guns you start getting past Bar are all good Tbh

Tight mechanics, atmosphere, story and lore.

Also somewhat overrated by its niche fanbase, but still fine.

What are good mods that don't change gameplay? I've seen some really good screenshots of modded stalker

Good times
Hoping Call of Chernobyl gets some of its quirks patched out and some more mod support, it's almost my favorite STALKER experience now

you could go with an enb/reshade/sweetFX or atmosfear, still anyone would recommend a starter pack mode to clean up the bugs of vanilla, but never complete its trash.
