You're missing the whole point about Goten's place in the manga, he is a very good designed character, you're just a dumbass.
He is meant to be another "kid goku", since Chichi did everything to make him look that way, as well as behave like kid Goku.

If anything, you can blame Toriyama for not developing more on him.


As well as the Ginyu forces, I don't see what's wrong with them, they are meant to be this goofy and clumsy looking, at the exception of Ginyu himself, who actually look like a vilain.

Original Arcs like U6 Tourney, Zamasu arc, and now the ToP are the only good ones with u6 being the weakest arguably.
