There is no catch, it's a nice editor to make your own levels and play other people's levels. Turn on V sync in your gpu's settings because otherwise screen tearing is a huge issue from my experience.

It's nice, but it feels limited to me. I'm going to wait and see how the devs expand it in future patches before going all-out with making levels or playing others. It has a lot of potential at minimum though.
