never played the EX games before, but I know the characters from about a decade of "TOP 10 CHARACTERS THAT NEED TO BE ADDED TO SF4/5" videos. This game looks good, visually. Glad to see some of these neat character designs getting another chance, maybe I'll play the game this time.

Only pause for concern is that it's using a Gems system, you accomplish in-game objectives to trigger your power-ups. That stuff wasn't very fun in SFxT, maybe they've figured out how to fix it?

SNK knows KOF is niche. Seriously, the lack of hype in their recent fighting games means that the company is now marked for death. Even if EX won't sell that well, the fact that there's more people who trusted Akira more than Capcom can lead to doom. It's possible that those fans can make the EX games so hype-ful that it will attract new players, and that means a lot especially for their future plans.

I'm sure as hell hope that the new Monster Hunter game will sell well. Since SFV (and possibly MvC I too based on the reactions so far) wasn't praised that well, MonHun is the only game so far in my knowledge to make Capcom float.

Well I haven't played it for a while but it's generally just a solid fun semi 3d fighter. It was new and flashy at the time there's a lot of fun and interesting new characters and the sound track is GLORIOUS. People have been posting samples all thread.

I can't really say how much weight it has a super competitive game but it's a fun one
