Recommend me some good base building games, /v/

I'm yet to find one that would feel really satisfying.

I'd say Factorio is a base-building-heavy game that get's closest to what I find good. Mostly because it actually forces you to play around with functionality rather than just being a crappy overglorified piece of Lego.
That said, I had not played games like Rimword yet.

Dungeon Keeper is a classic.

Evil Genius was flawed but fun; they just announced a sequel is in the works.

You're missing out senpai. You didn't ask for a pretty base - building game, you asked for a good one. The two best ate factorio and probably dwarf fortress, and neither of them look like a AAA game

You really need finer control on which minions perform what actions, I feel. I hate how often I had a priority action like charming a super agent or moving a body, and the minion that gets assigned to do it starts running from across the fucking base. I'll have to look into th3 sequel anon, thanks for the tip.
