Why exactly do people hate this game? It's fun as fuck.

There's a bunch of dumbasses that think it fails to be Mario 64, Sunshine or Galaxy when it's incrdibly obvious it supposed to a 3D version of the more linear 2D games. I don't know, it was really good for me.

Me and my girlfriend moved into our new apartment at the time in the winter, and we would get cozy on the couch with some hot chocolate and play Mario 3D world. Maybe it is because it was too casual for people playing by themselves? I don't know. It's a pretty cheery game though.

The level design in Galaxy was crazy good though considering it was pretty much the first big 3D anti-grav platformers.

It's pretty smooth experience and quality release but it's bit like Ubisoft games - really fun for a while but then you'll realize how mediocre it is in the end. The game lacks balls. It's not bad on any level but it's not that good either.

But in the end it's still pretty comfy and safe zone game (i.e. something you can play if the real world is stressing you etc) which I have finished once and will be replaying soon.
