While I do think the game leans heavily towards stealth, it's plenty viable and a ton of fun to just go in guns blazing with stuff like the flamethrower, LAW, GEP gun and so forth.
The last sections of the game, in particular, are fun that way.

He has so much knowledge when it comes to conspiracy theories I would love it if he made his own game separate from Deus Ex. But it has the same concept where you are just a cog in a machine who becomes enlightened and ultimately save the world from the elites.

What I'm saying that the gameplay (in a truly interactive sense which dialogue isn't) in Torment is a sideshow at best - couple of braindead fights and running around town, picking up items. It is completely valid to put it aside when discussing that game. So we're left with something that is a VN in all but name, and is in fact at its best that way.

And of course the game only works up until Ravel's maze, it's an unfinished, boring mess in the second half.
