REMAKE FUCKING WHEN
Never ever, probably not popular enough. Same deal with a new Rogue Squadron installment. Feels horrible.

Rogue Squadron was pretty popular though with the 3 sequels. But its a smaller audience then what you would get with a CoD style game so ya I agree, probably never.
Though I feel like a Rogue Squadron game could be successful if they dont waste their entire budget on marketing.
Was Revenge any good?

Never. The days of variety in SW games is over.

I recently replayed SW1 Racer on P64 and it worked like a charm. Apart from some sound issues iirc.

>tfw no rogue squadron made by project aces

64 version didn't have the track introduction cutscenes, did it.
>>384158496
It doesn't have the FMVs, but it has little cinematics.

No, I actually raged harder at that game than any other in recent memory.
It is a MAJOR step down from the N64 original. Literally 8-10 tracks, as opposed to dozens like the original.
1/3 the racers. Very cartoonish. Announcer makes you immediately want to kill yourself and you can't imagine why they hired this piece of shit.
I played for 2 hours before realizing how utterly inadequate and horrible of a game it is compared to the original. Save yourself the pain and just play the original on an emulator. If you know the controls and can do what you want, you can do insane shit in that game.

The key is you go super slow. So slow it's almost a joke. If you stay on the track, you still get a way bigger advantage than if you go superfast on the bottom track.
Just pulse the throttle and perhaps use some of the Z-trigger drifting, go very slow, and it's actually not that hard. Start super slow and don't worry about speed or winning, just to get the feel.
