We need some real innovation. Like the interactivity with objects in the world of Crysis 1 with the open world of today's modern big budget games.

Serious answer, first it's going to multiplayer. FC5 is full co-op. Then it's going to bigger worlds and eventually full planets, traveling between planets, with elements from survival, strategy, and RPG games. Taking over planets, establishing bases on them, negotiating with NPCs and actual players.
