Its likely do the the Field of View. Sitting too close to a screen with a low FoV does it to me too.

Sometimes I just have to train my eyes to get used to the game and it goes away. I never actually got to the point of throwing up though.

I seem to be completely immune to all forms of motion sickness.
But I heard people with the issue can ease it by increasing the FOV where you can and sitting away from the screen
