You think there will be Windows emulators in the future that can run Games native to windows on any other platform?

I like the idea of running windows software/games without the OS.

I haven't looked into Wine in the last few years but last time i checked it was quite far from where i would want it to be.

afaik a virtual machine will simulate the whole thing, including all the useless stuff. Might be overkill to simulate the whole OS just for a game.

Besides i am rooting for something simple to use like a gba emulator ^^

I'm pretty sure there's an open source OS in the works that can run windows programs, forget the name though.

Wine is pretty decent nowadays. Recently released 3D games are a gamble but indie games and older games usually run very well. I'm not aware of any software that has better Windows compatibility than Wine besides virtual machines.
