They're all shit. No exceptions.

Even if the writing isn't insultingly bad (which is extremely rare to begin with) and the art isn't just low-class stock images or custom shit with the same quality or worse, there's no escaping the fact that the basic RPGMaker engine is fucking awful. And sure you can customize it, but not enough to actually make anything worth playing.

Seriously, I've played maybe dozens of RPGMaker type games because the concept is just so hard to dislike. But even the most popular, most acclaimed ones were just garbage with maybe one or two redeeming features. At this point I'm starting to get convinced that the reason all RPGMaker games suck isn't just because RPGMaker is a shit engine, but because it only attracts the laziest, most juvenile, most autistic and most talent-less wastes of human skin to ever walk the Earth. And it makes sense, because anyone with an ounce of respect for themselves, their game and their audience would at least take the time to learn something as basic as Game Maker or similar engines to build their project on.

Story 100%.
Gameplay elements 100%. (Not counting the six gorillion lines of flavor text for every single character calling out every single every attack and spell differently. Even Rogue has admitted he's not going to bother except for the ones that cause cut-ins.)
Porn 40% to 50%? Not sure, but I've heard around the midway point is where it stops being English. Unfortunately now that part 2 is out their translation has once again taken a backseat.
At least a few evaluations are translated. No idea about monsterpedia entries.

It's about exploring a giant accursed cave and trying to discover what happened and what is happening with the world outside meanwhile talking and making dialogue choices with other people that also are exploring the cave for some reason... it will have multiple endings as well.

Managed to get it working by downloading the RPG_RT.exe and ultimate_rt_eb.dll out of here
