Synopsis: So, there are these called heartless that take over worlds and fucks them. After, fucking them and turning it into Florida. Sora come in and makes the world "back to the same". Disney characters get tied in and sora splits into 3 other characters and they get their own arcs. He then, gets trapped in time and gets saved. Enemy is organization 13 tries to steal hearts and sora has to close doors.

I've never used PCSX2 before but I hear it's notoriously shitty. How hard is it to get working with Kingdom Hearts 1 2 and hopefully re:COM? Can I/Should I play the final mix versions of 1 and 2? And can I get it looking better than the PS4 rerelease like Dolphin can with the Gamecube remakes on WiiU?

Kingdom hearts works very well in PCSX2. I'm running it at 2x res with almost zero slowdown. final mix 1 isn't translated but it didn't add too much compared to final mix 2 which actually is translated.

I mean it's post CoM Kingdom Hearts so it's going to have some of that inevitable sort of shit. But I thought it was at least a bit more tangible and sensible than the extent a lot of other games in the series reach. The worst it did was in explaining the sleeping worlds but that was clearly meant to just be an asspull to do a fun dreamworld game (The Traverse Town changes, Dream Eaters, Flow motion, etc that came from this choice were awesome). Some suspension of disbelief has always been necessary for this series

I bought it a few days ago and just beat Kingdom Hearts 1 with no problems. The only real issue is that the FPS is tied to logic so some bosses are harder since they attack more often and you rarely have time to get combos in. It got kind of annoying.
