I've been playing mgsv. I missed out on 4 and peace walker, which I think was a psp game? Idk, I was out of the loop for a while. Just got an xbone last year. It's ok, I kind of missed the feel of a larger, more read:less coherent story. But it's fun to put on and play a mission or two.
It's harder to make time to play nowadays, other things just take priority.

I'm turning 30 next wednesday myself. I have a toaster for a pc, so mostly older and indir games for me. For the past year and a half, my most played game has been EU4. I'm getting a new computer in two weeks, but that probably wont change my gaming preferences. Only that I can finally get my hands on The Witcher 3.

Early 30s here, I'm playing gw2 (mostly for pvp and wvw), fallout 4, replaying underrail in the next week.
During work lunch break when I'm not with my girl who is 10 years younger than me I'm playing some classics like super robots wars or a random old jrpg that I never touched because it was in japanese and didn't have a translation.
I don't feel old, the only difference is that now I have less time for vydia and more money to travel or do something as fun as gaming.

So it was just assumed as a fad, or passing interest for many older people. I'm 26 now, and I was told repeatedly that as I got older I'd play less video games. Well, it wasn't entirely wrong, because I graduated college and now work full time, but my love of video games has not disappeared at all. If anything, I wish I had more time to play them.

For me its a lot of reasons I love Elite. Firstly I'm an absolute sucker for space. Years past I would put on some chill ambient music and just lose hours with Space Engine. Elite has replaced that. It isn't very stressful unless I put myself into stressful situations, like mining in no sec, or starting shit in another faction's space. The sky is the limit in Elite and for me that is worth every penny, and second invested.
