My character has a base HP regen of +1p/s and increases by 1.05 per level up to +18.9p/s and they have some quints and runes that increase it by +0.23p/s per level up to +4.14p/s at level 18 and they have some masteries that increase it by +2.5p/s and they have Doran's Shield which increases it by +6.0p/s. This doesn't account for champion passives, buffs from jungle monsters, teammates passives, teammates spells, teammates items, enemies' spells, enemies' items, enemies' passives, and other items you can buy.

Moat of the reasons exclaimed above my post, but the main reason is that riot sucks at ballancing the game, like >>384124684 said, the current meta is enforced by riot, and they have been known to ban people who play outside the current meta yet still bring in wins for their teams. MOBA is an awful game genre to begin with. The idea that you slay minions for 20 minutes and then group and wait for someone to facecheck or fuck up is just really, really lame.

The idea that you're stuck in the same game with the same players for 20-60 minutes is also absurd. And because it's free to play it's infested with trolls, smurfs, all these things that ruin your average persons experience.

On top of that the balance is a mess and even though the game gets patched every 2 weeks it doesn't even change much because there's always things that are permabanned and then there's characters with unhealthy game design that never get touched.

if immobile characters can take flash to escape, then already mobile characters can also take it to get an even greater advantage, so what you have is a force multiplier rather than an equalizer. it makes immobile characters just as worthless when they don't have flash up, but now the mobile characters become even more of a threat when they do have it up. and this is compounded if both scenarios happen at the same time.

the new blast plants pose a similar issue, but those aren't as bad since they're in a static position at all times.

flash forces riot to balance around it. new champs and reworks have so much innate mobility because everyone takes flash, but everyone takes flash because so many champs have so much mobility. it's a vicious circle that keeps biting itself in the ass.

Yeah, but flash makes safe and defensive play less important. Without flash the go to way to play laning would be to just never do anything even remotely dangerous. Just look at For Honor for what limited mobility does to a game.
You can argue that laning is shit and should not exists which is probably more truth than opinion, but this game has it and there are others that don't (like Battlerite for example)

Illaoi is a fine design. Having ONE muscle girl amazon, while unattractive, isn't a problem. It's just ONE. She's a slow hunk of meat that goes in melee range and breaks everybody's bones, she's not here to be cute.

The problem is things like Taliyah, who have a terrible face for absolutely no reason. Illaoi doesn't have an ugly face, you might be turned off by the tatoos and the huge muscles, but Taliyah on the other hand is just unattractive because her designer is a sjw who literally told people on twitter to not talk to women on the street.

As for most recent releases, Xayah is conventionally attractive aside from her furry features (who remain light aside from her chicken legs), but she has a disgusting edgy strong independant woman personnality that is FAR WORSE than her looks.

Champion design and forced meta have fucking killed this game for me. On top of the fact that the champion concepts are buttfuck retarded (go look up Kayn, their newest abortion, it seriously looks and reads like Deviantart OC) their kits are so outrageously overstuffed with bullshit that old champs can't compete with the new ones. The new champs have so much fucking mobility that walls have become suggestions instead of actual obstacles at this point, everyone has a million passives now, and EVERYONE's ult has to have untargetability for beeg plays or global range or a team-wide buff or whatever.

If power creep wasn't enough, the kits for these monstrosities are so finely-tuned toward putting you in a single lane and role that you get actively shit on by most people for taking it elsewhere. It's really apparent that League's meta is painfully stale when you get something as mundane as Annie invading bot lane in season 4 or whatever and people absolutely going nuts over it, like this is some revolutionary thing. I've tried for a couple of years off and on to get into league and I'm always turned off by the sheer amount of shit you have to learn before you can even really have a go at playing it. Like there's so many abilities/ults that just 1 shot you or just do some strange effect that you can't fight back against until you know exactly how they work. It feels like playing that ironic game where the object of the game is to figure out the rules of the game. And then all the items and runes on top of it, and every time I come back it seems like everything's reworked to be different so its like I have to start learning verything from scratch again. I don't see how anyone can get into it now a days as a new player unless they legit have autism.

Honestly? I'm sure there's lots of proper, "professional" reasons why, but for me personally it's gameplay variety. Call me a shitter for preferring Dota, but the different game modes whenever and however you want, makes it a superior game on that basis alone.

Unless they changed it, game modes like Hexakill or One for All or URF mode, are rare and handled like special treats that Riot hands out to players on special occasions. The problem though is that those modes are very fun, very enjoyable, and not being able to play them whenever you want is mindbogglingly stupid to me. As it stands, you're only guaranteed to be able to play Classic and ARAM, and that's it.

Compare with Dota where you can play like 10 different dedicated game modes naturally, and then you can play the player-made modes of which there's hundreds of different great ones, all of this whenever and however you want.
