truly a masterpiece
i remember playing this religiously when it came out. fill out every part of the world maps.
countless hours spent planing cities and raising them to greatness. there will never be another game that will bring me so much joy.

I tried using NAM. Holy shit, it's incredibly inconvenient to use. I understand that it's a mod that was hacked into the game an I should be grateful it even works, but still.

The NAM mostly fixes the underlying traffic simulation. Making nice highway interchanges is nearly impossible, though.

Yea, that's what I'm talking about. It's cool to not have so many traffic jams, but I wanted to make cool infrastructure-porn tier roads.

...and then even if you dedicated the 2+ hours to make them they still look weird, too spaced out, and unnatural.

There was some reason they gave for not having pre-fab interchanges but I forgot.

Neither C:S nor SC4 has attractive, realistic, functional, and relatively dense interchanges, which is a real shame.
