Every defence map has the problem of one or two bottlenecks that the attackers HAVE to brute-force their way through, and even when there's a 'flanking route' it still exits in pretty much the same place so the defenders don't really have to be watching their backs at all.
That and the final point is always right next to the defender's spawn.

A big part of being a successful Mercy is hiding to avoid the dangerous ults such as Zarya's or Genji's and then flying in to bring your team back from that. Without the ability to fly to dead teammates you will never make it except for maybe Anubis point b.

Now I personally hate that I HAVE to hide. It's not fun for me or the enemy team. If you wanna have a discussion about how to rework Mercy in that way I'm all ears. But in her current state your idea just fucks her over completely.

How do you fix Mercy, in all honesty.

Her Q is the reason shes insane because she resets fights. But if you nerf her Q, shes literally one of the worst healers in the game. Period. No one picks up Mercy for ANY reason outside her Q. The main reason PharaMercy is so popular is because it gives Mercy something to do between the 1-99% of her ult.

So how do you honestly fix her? You can't change her ult. Its what makes her who she is.

Just bringing back one person would be enough to be honest. Or if you want to keep the multiple rez issue, have it so each person rez'd has a certain % of their max health off, e.g. rez a Mccree on his own and he's full health, rez Mccree with two other people and he's down 40%(?) of his health until it gets healed back up as well as the other two who came back from the dead, so if you rez more people then you have to clean up that mess further by patching them back up unless you want them to go down again.

Its weird how Mercy's ult is one of the best and worst ults at the same, it allows for re-do's but the problem is that it created a bad habit for a healer in that you just let your teammates die while you stay in the shadows, just so you can rez at least half your team at once instead of just keeping them sustained naturally and hitting that Q if you slipped up and let someone die from not healing them quick enough. But then I play a lot zen who chills near the back and his ult is used at the front.
