Also the fanbase enjoys the plot ironically, the cases, the characters and the memes is where the good shit is at.

Play Persona 5. It's entry level shit. I don't really like anime games but I really enjoyed it.

Danganronpa purely banks on it's cases, which are very good. The plot however is a big load of dogshit. Play the games, don't watch the anime.

I wonder is there any weeb rpg that don't have good ol' turn-based or similar gameplay? I swear that's the only thing that's turns me off from those games.

I hate turn based, but I think Persona 5 does a good job about it, since it's all about the weaknesses and skills really, next to no grinding.
Anyway, Kingdom Hearts and Pandora's Tower are very action based, but I'd not suggest KH

Yeah, already thought about buying Persona. Don't really like all this Disney stuff that's going on in Kingdom Hearts and too bad Pandora's Tower is Wii exclusive. Thanks anyway.
