I've booted over 145 hours in it so I can safely say I'm satisfied with the purchase, but honestly what else is there to talk about? Unless they announce a surprise DLC I see no reason to go back into it once you've unlocked all parts and reached a decent ELO.

Yeah, I play a couple of games every other day.

There's not much to discuss about it though. It's not like Nintendo have any events going on that gets people talking, like Splatfests in Splatoon.

Mario Kart 8 has tournaments already, so it's possible for them to add notifications for a more prominent official tournament every so often to encourage everyone to join and play.

Mario Kart 8 has kind of been my "in between/autopilot" game. I like to play it when listening to a podcast type video/show since it can be fun while not focusing too hard.
Right now in terms of games I have a few things on my plate like Crash and Mega Maker (and I was just back into OSRS for a while but Im already bored again)
I dunno, not much to say about it aside from talking about balance and 200cc vs 150cc. My main setup is Isabelle/Blue Falcon/Gold Wheels/Airplane glider. I know heavies + light cars are basically the top tiers but I just want to play as Isabelle most of the time.
In terms of the battle modes I barely touched it on Deluxe. Messed around with it a bit offlline. Played a couple matches online, and that was it. The main problem is in online matchmaking it just gives you random maps and random modes, half of which are shit. Dont get me wrong though, I do appreciate the half of the maps/modes that are actually pretty cool like the pirahna plant one.
