I deleted it a year ago and am happier but play MOBAs still. Just not ones where the average match time is half an hour to be satisfying and can go up to 40-70 minutes normally. Dota is seriously draining as fuck.

I've been playing HoN after leaving Dota2 and I have to say it's way better. The community is SLIGHTLY less toxic and the game is way more balanced and fun. It's not great, but really all MoBAs are shit, but I can at least play a game a day and enjoy myself

Update me on the state of the game please, last played was 2014 and last update I checked in was when they introduced that traits shit. Has it gotten more casual or less, or whats up?

Traits are a straight upgrade over the old system of leveling stats
The only thing that you could argue made the game more casual are the addition of healing shrines. Even then all it really did was encourage more fight heavy games.

Dota is one of the most balanced mOBAs witht he most play. All Blizzard games are known for their shit balance and gameplay design. HotS is less intense than Dota, so I could see why it's fun, but I've chosen Smite as my middle ground between intensity and how long matches are. The third person perspective is also a nice change of pace.

anyone have a spare Lite key for that new fangled Battlerite thing? Kindda wanna try it out.

Teamplay is pretty important in that game, it may not be as noticeable because of the perspective but it's definitely prevalent. Lower ELO matches usually just are clusterfucks thanks to people being incompetent like so.
