As someone who got to play this today at Evo, I honestly have to say that...the gameplay is best in the series. It's more like an evolution of Marvel 1 than a sequel to 3, and I don't mind that. I'm buying it (but luckily my favorite characters like Nova/Hawkeye made it in).

Playing GG since GGX on Dreamcast. I'm still waiting to get my hands on DBZ but personally it sounds like the perfect storm since I love GG and as a kid I loved DB. A fighter based on the MCU should START with every single character who was in the airport fight in Civil War and move on from there. No Black Widow? Okay. No Vision? Seriously? No Scarlet Witch? You know, I'm surprised that Capcom didn't learn well from SFV. That game was a flop and I thought they'd settle their shit for once but hot damn they cut off their other ball with this one.

One major problem I have with this game is the roster. Look, I can't exactly blame them on the most part with the Marvel characters since they don't really own them but could they at least shake things up even a little bit with the Capcom characters?
Why couldn't they change the model with Spencer with the old/ginger Spencer? That version of Spencer looked more cool as fuck than the recent version of him (not to mention has a better game too)? Why wouldn't they (re)introduce characters from their different games like Amingo, Ruby, the Darkstalkers cast, and Captain Commando? Games like this can improve the popularity with their other games don't you think? Why the fuck does the Capcom roster feels cheap as fuck in a sense they just copy paste random characters in MvC3 and call it a day (which I'm pretty sure they already did this just because they want to be lazy and shit)?
I know that some will be sad if their mains isn't included in the game but if they did this with the previous MvC games, why not now?

Another thing I hate with this game (and maybe other fighting games as well) is the already planned DLC characters on the get go. Like why the fuck do they think this shit is a good idea? If they really want to add DLC characters without receiving that much shit, give the game months or weeks for it to shine before they do so.

Look, I know that the game is not completely finished but damn the demo kicked the fans' balls as well as their own. Even if the game itself is fun (which I can't tell for myself since I haven't touched the demo yet), those shit they gave out dragged everything to hell just like what SFV did to itself. Oh and the simplified controls feels like salt to an opened wound for old fans.
