weeaboo or "weeb" for short was originally defined as a non-japanese person who thinks japan/japanese culture is superior in every way.


now the word is pretty much a replacement for anything japan related.
i.e. a game from japan is a "weeb" game. or food like sushi is "weeb" food.

The shortened version has never had any meaning. It means as much as "geek" does today, which is nothing.
It's a good way to know if someone is worth talking to, however. If they use it, stop talking to them.
