I genuinely think playing this game at launch and experiencing the pre-release and post-release with /v/ were essential to me enjoying this game as much as I did.

By all right as a standalone game the story was absolutely TERRIBLE. Somehow the memes made it all better. I'm not the type to come to 4chan much but thanks y'all it was wild.

It won't happen. Spike Chunsoft likes sticking with 3D models now. Easier to produce and contort to however you like vs drawing sprites frame by frame.
