The hitboxes in the game are solid as fuck and thats actually the problem for most people, sounds like you just need to actually learn the combat system. Everyone who complains seems to have put zero effort and bitches that it looks bad, nigga thats your input. You can even spend ability points to get i-frames but otherwise just stop rolling in close combat entirely that shit is for projectiles and has a delay, sidestep, dont dodge forwards or backwards. Gerlat only does specific shit when you say, you attack and push forward, he moves forwards and swings.

I agree, this meme is getting ridiculous. Witcher 3 has probably the best combat of any RPG because of how accessible it is. Other games require a stupid amount of reading online how everything works because the game won't tell you, but in Witcher 3, all you have to do is click a lot until you win and it's super visceral. It's the sort of thing that makes you wonder why all games aren't like that.
