Anyone got suggestions for some good games that never end? I

Even games that just let you continue to fart around after the main story is completed would suffice.

The monster hunter games have hundreds and hundreds of hours of grind if that's what you're looking for. There's always something to upgrade/work towards.

I've got MH4 and Generations and they're a lot of fun, the problem I have is how much I hate the chode stick on the new 3ds for camera controls. I'm really excited for World to come out on ps4 though.

I've got most of those, but I've never looked into Rune Factory. It looks like something I could sink some time into. I love rpgs that let you grind however much you want. Thanks for the heads up.

I have around 300 hours in RF4. It's one of the best 3DS games. Definitely top 10 no matter who you ask.

As a fan of Animal Crossing, I can tell you it's not AS comfy but it's like taking Harvest Moon and then adding battles plus a fully fleshed out crafting system on top of it. You can tend to your crops and monitor your soil attributes, go on a date with a girl, and then take her to a dungeon to farm items.

I went homebrew and grabbed it on a whim, and it ended up being my favorite handheld game in the last few years at least. Would buy it but the company that made it doesn't exist anymore so it'd be pointless.

If you have a bit of extra money and don't mind a bit of repetitive "daily chores" vibes like in AC, Ever Oasis came out a few weeks (months?) ago and it's solid too.

You'll want to read some spoiler-free tips threads once you get rolling, because some things will save your life.

Such as pressing Y to quickly transfer items between windows instead of picking them up one at a time.

I played the Ever Oasis demo and for some reason it just didn't feel good. Granted, they kinda just throw you into a piece of the game with no context, but I was kinda bummed out seeing as how I'd been looking forward to it for a while. It's still on my list, just further down than it used to be.
