Gyro aiming in Splatoon 1 was the absolute closest thing to kb+m that consoles have ever seen,the fact that you can adjust the sensitivy also made things better.

Rollers SEEM OP,and the Krak-On Splat Roller in Splatoon 1 was great against scrubs,but towards the A+-S+ games,good fucking luck with a roller on your team.EVERYONE was much better off with an E-Liter or Aerospray,and that's what most people saw.

The occasional Rollerbro was a god among men,not because of the one hit potential of the roller,but because he had mastered crossing the terrain like a fucking ninja amidst the chaos

If you're going to continue trying to use a roller weapon,start learning the maps and study up on how to get to your victims in both,the most efficient way possible,and without being seen by the opposition

It's been so easy to win on Moray Towers for the EU and JP splatfests. Literally just go by yourself and rush their ramp and ink the shit out it. Most of the time the enemies will enjoy you and by the time you get to their spawn area you can just camp the shit out of them as a team by guarding the drop down spot and the ramp.

They're tiers that you progress through to get more rewards for doing the splatfest. In Splatoon 1 there were items called Super Sea Snails that you could trade to an NPC that would reroll or add abilities to your gear, and you got the from doing splatfests, the higher your splatfest level (ie fanboy,defender, champion, etc) the more you got, and you got more if your team won.

I want to get gud with the Charger, but that special seems hot garbage so far. Only played about a dozen games so far, though.

Here's a fun trick for Moray Towers. If you use the jetpack special after jumping off one of the ropes you will return to the area before you started traveling on the Rope when it ends. Great way to get far away out of there after spraying a bunch of ink.
