Oh god, that fight becomes such a pain on NG+ and forward.

>go camp in that little temple-ish ruin that is on the side of arena to avoid most of Warrior's attacks

I don't understand this boss. It's supposed to be simple chase like all other Super Sonic sections in other Sonic games, but no matter what I do, it feels like I just can't catch it.

You know that thing in nightmares when you try to escape something, but then suddenly you just can't move? You fall down when you try to run and your legs feel like jelly? Well, that boss fight feels like the reverse of it: when you start getting close to the boss, you just can't pull the speed necessary to get to it. After something like ~10 tries, I just lucked it, not even knowing what I did better than in the tries before it. What a shitshow.

Looking back, picrelated has always been awful until 4 Ultimate (where it gets somewhat decent). It's just a HP sponge which any attack can oneshot you, except that the few attacks it has are super previsible and have no intensity at all (just having the beast walking near you kills you, but there is no shock or brutality in that). Subspecies are okay at best (again, until 4U).
