Finished my Tunis > Andalusia playthrough today.
Scotland formed Great Britain, Holstein wrecked Denmark, England fled to Ivory Coast (I vassallised it, got free Argentina too).
Mamluks were driven to small island of Diego Garcia south of India by me and Ottomans.
Ottomans begin to be worthless ally in 1700s, betrayed them and released Mamluks again, fed them most of Ottoman Egypt. They also had made colony in Papua New Guinea. Managed to integrate them before 1821.

Tunisian land attrition national idea + full Defensive Ideas group + forts in mountain areas like Fez + scorched earth = sieges take eternity.
Managed to wear down France quite nicely abusing it when they attacked me once in Iberian peninsula after I MOOR'D most of it.
