I'd probably spend my day in wonder at the city of Ys or the heart of Eriu's natural splendor, being a bit of a tourist, or seeking out magical healing for my destroyed pancreas, so I can eat normally again.

Once I'm home, I'd put on the ring and go in search of magical gems, gathering a cult by being actually able to use real magic and getting them to harvest the damn things for me.
