The best thing about the wii u is that it is the console that has the least time between starting up the console and starting up the game.

I hate all the menu based bullshit I have to go through these days, at least with the wii u it has the optioin to skip all the menus when you start up.

What console are you using? The Wii U has some of the slowest start ups of any recent console. For a PS4 you boot it up and you're immediately in the menu where you select a game. For Wii U you need to wait for it to load the menu, then click on the game, wait for it to load the disc, then click start and finally wait for the game to start up itself.

What are some games that are similar to, or at least reminiscent of, Moomin? Could be aesthetically, atmosphere, thematically whatever.

Agree. Today I dusted off my Wii to play SM Galaxy 2 and I just did a 7 hour marathon on it. I have a feeling that only Nintendo games actually deserve their universal acclaim tbx. SM galaxy is easily one of the best games ever made.
