The other issue with this is if you're not playing DPS in a "just for fun" game, you aren't having fun. The other roles exist just to support the DPS, and the selection is extremely limited.

I suppose this is consistent with Blizzard's, 'you think you do but you don't' attitude towards their consumers. OW broke Blizzard for me, so there's that. It reinforced that SC2 wasn't just underwhelming and Diablo 3 wasn't just complete ass. Blizzard may have been a phenomenal developer in the 90's and the early 00's, but the talent has left the building, and Nu-Blizzard is ass.


Honestly I'm more interested in what Pardo is doing these days.

Honestly so burned out on the game since season 2, played a little this season and have decayed for almost a month now. Game is utterly imbalanced and trash IMHO, I only play a couple quickplay games every few days now. I really have zero faith in Blizzard balancing the game tbqh senpai

I'm getting bored of it too, but I got my money's worth. I get the feeling a lot of the people moaning about how they regret buying it are the ones who sit there and play it for several hours every day and wonder why they're so sick of it. Yep, absolutely got it on the anniversary sale and i had fun for like 15 hours, which is ok i guess, but the game on a deeper level is fucking shit. Competitive feels like a fucking grind, i didn't play it because it was fun, i played it because i wanted to rank up. Every match plays out 1 of 2 ways: 1) my team has ok players and scrambles up an acceptable comp 2) retards instalock DPS or non meta heroes that they think they can play but are absolute shit at and we end up missing healers and or tanks and i have to fucking fill so we don't instantly lose, but of course we still probably lose. This is the only "competitive" multiplayer game were you can be an above average player for your skill level but still lose 10 matches in a row because matchmaking is actually russian roulette with 5 rounds in the chamber.

I got to 3400 SR and never looked back, maybe i'll play again when i'm bored out of my mind.

Why is it so annoying to capture flags in CTF? Half the time both teams are camping in it worse than in TF2, especially because characters move so slowly and you have to wait to capture a flag.

The only reason Winston is popular is because Mercy has 99% pick rate.
The game stopped being fun months ago, if it was a ten euro game I'd be ok with it. But for a 60 euro game I am very disappointed.

Since season 3 I started playing the 10 matches to get into Master rank for the gold weapon, but now I can't even be bothered. Comp is full of autists and QP is nothing but braindead idiots. The game is a chore

Funny how you jump to that conclusion despite the fact that I actually used to play Roadhog. There's no need to be that defensive. All I'm saying is cheesy 1 hit kill mechanics like that in an FPS ruin them. Only snipers and "all in" abilities like Reinhardt's charge should kill in one hit. From a mechanical standpoint, it's very difficult to defend an easy to land ability which will kill the majority of the cast in one hit. Most of the time when I used to land hooks it wasn't because the enemy was out of position, it's because they were in range and the range was massive.

Personally I think he was pretty alright after the hook cooldown nerf (since his size and lack of mobility/armor would kill him if he was out of position) but honestly, he's just one the characters that made the game worse by existing. The TTK in Overwatch is very short.
