It's not spoiling saying that if you kill everyone theres an ending and if you don't kill anyone there's an ending. They are very subtle hints and basically there is a high chance you will still fuck up if you don't know exactly what to do. Knowing the endings don't matter much story-wise either.

Also it's specifically made so that you cannot get the friendship ending (considered canon by fanbase) your first playtrough, you have to get neutral ending first.

Reminder that genocide is the canon ending.

In pacific ending humans and monsters will live together in peace again, but only for a short period. The cycle of the game will repeat, where humans enslave or trap them back into the underground, because humans are dicks, one core point of the game.
In neutral ending monsters will eventually break free once enough kids fall down the cave and the same happens.
The solution is to wipe the monsters entirely from the surface and from the underground, that and ONLY that will get rid of the conflicts between human and monsters. And that is going to eventually happen when the next [Chara] arrives.
