Hard to say. Skating seems like it is not as popular as it was back in the late 90s, and with Activision losing the Tony Hawk rights and EA seemingly having no interest in a Skate 4, I doubt there will be any new games.

Hell, it seems like extreme sports games in general are a dying breed. Granted, all it takes is one title doing well to spark interest in making more like it. I could totally see a indie or smaller developer making something that could gain interest in it again.
