I've never played a more monotonous game in my life. The combat is braindead and you only die getting careless or encountering a new enemy/boss since you don't know what they do. The story took forever to go anywhere, and I was laughing hard with the "plot twist" after you defeat the final full moon boss (the only fun full moon boss was strength/fortune) and this was around the part where I stopped playing. Only a few slinks out of the ones I got were decent, and the only way you could get them was by sitting through the shitty ones until they unlocked. Honestly, people are better off watching a playthrough if s.links/story is all Persona has to offer. And why do devs love giving your player a choice in these linear rpgs when they rarely change anything outside of dialogue?

I don't have a problem with people saying it's a great game; I think it's fantastic.

My problem is when people pretend it had instant GOTY status despite the amount of glaring issues. BotW beats it pretty comfortably IMO and so will Mario Odyssey, probably. Sonic Mania might beat it too.
