The game has plenty of charming characters. You haven't played it if you don't know any of them. Kass, Mipha, Purah, the king, just to name a few. As for the story, sure it's not that in depth, but I think it lends itself well to being experienced in videogame format, and the slow reveal of all of the details is nice.
