>hey. let's make this game with GOTY gameplay
>then cut it into pieces then release only 1/5 of it.

what the fuck is wrong with Square Enix
>>
>>383995339
It didn't feel cut in half at all, with all the side content it's rather lenghty.
Fucking hate this meme.
>>
>>383995748
did u even finish the game?

it just ends

like. wat.
>>
it's great so far, except the file size and loading times

>>383995808
man a game with a shitty ending, that's unprecedented
>>
>>383995748
The story goes nowhere though. Kinda sucks that they introduce all these questions and it sounds like they plan on answering them but then they just drop the entire franchise.

>find out who's behind the attacks
>lauch counter operation and defeat the guy behind it
>"it just ends"

Did we play the same game?
It was clear as day when shit was avbout to go down.
And ending aside it's the journey which counts not the ending.
>>
>>383995339
fucking monkey's paw
>please give a real gig to Ed Harisson
>he gets it
>for Deus Ex Breach

goddamn it
https://soundcloud.com/eidosmontreal/sets/deus-ex-breach-original-soundtrack
>>
>>383995958
that's like 1 out of 10 plot line in the game
>>
>>383995958
Remember how Jensen have amnesia? Remember how they hint that some shit went down at the facility he was staying at? Remember all those new high tech augs he had that no one could explain? Remember how it was heavily implied Jensen was manipulated by the illuminati?

These are all things the game brought up and never answered.
>>
>>383996285
Well it's pretty much confirmed that he's a clone.
>>
>>383996045
oh shit, it's the neotokyo guy

what a fucking shame
>>
>>383995958
The attack, and the investigation of it, was Jensen's cover for what he was really after. The game kept pulling Chekhov's gun but it never fired a bunch of them.
>>
>>383996285
Use your own brain and think. Why do need to be spoon fed what to think about what's going on?
>>
>>383996952
>"don't think of it as cut content, think of it as making space for your imagination"
>>
Bought the collectors edition of this as it was only £20. Never played a deus ex game, what am I in for?
>>
>>383997176
But it's not cut content. Everything is explained as you play in form of npc's talking, side quests etc.
>>
>>383997332
a good game
>>
>>383996952
It is somewhat disappointing when the game highlights these things as important and then never talk about them again. Even in the ending sequence they talk about illuminati and Jensens involvement. It's heavily set up for a second game and the story is basically act 1 with act 2 and 3 to follow.

I really liked the game, dont get me wrong, but it is also disappointing when they introduce so many plot points and then just forget them or ignore them.
>>
>>383997415
Neat! Will I understand what's going on?
>>
>>383997404
Literally none of those things that anon brought is ever explained you drooling mongoloid.

You're in for a very comfy game. Probably the comfiest game of 2016. Pretty good story, good gameplay mechanics not much to complain about desu

>>383995339
I liked the gameplay and there' plenty of stuff to do if you explore and do side quests. I agree there's plenty of plot hooks left unsolved, but that's just the symptom of MD being planned as the second game in the trilogy. And now we're probably never going to get the sequel
>>
>>383996045
>>383996624
Is he supposed to be good? Never heard of his music
>>
>>383995748
No it feels cut, it end horribly abruptly
>>
Breach was just classic Squaresoft shoving their dick into the game

NOBODY liked it
NOBODY asked for it
NOBODY played it

yet lets put 50% of development towards it instead of focusing on the story mode that DE is renowned for
>>
I went in knowing nothing about the game beforehand, and I actually thought that the end boss was just the miniboss after who the game and the plot really start to unravel

I didn't believe it for a few seconds when I saw the credits roll
>>
>>383997615
Wrong, it was the first game in the trilogy they set up
>>
>>383997525
Fucking sweet I love comfy
>>
>>383997525
Cyberpunk isn't supposed to be comfy lad
>>
>>383997615
I got 37 hours how did you manage to play for 65 hours?
>>
>>383997675
pretty sure they delayed just because of it
and those damn patches that added content to it, like 5 people played the thing

nobody plays for stupid stealth mechanics
people play deusex to roleplay conspiracy agent
>>
>>383997720
>this
>cyberpunk
>>
>>383997720
I haven't played the series but if cyberpunk has dark night time streets with neon lights and rain pouring down then it's extremely comfy
>>
>>383997721
I took my time to explore every nook and cranny and stealthily neutralize every enemy. A normal playthrough would probably take half of my time
>>
>>383997806

The apartments in this game are so comfy. Jensens place is the most comfy
>>
>>383995339
They were too ambitious with what they made. The side content is longer than the main game.
>>
>>383998162
Sharpening filter acts up as a counterpart of the blurriness introduced by TXAA. So either leave them both on, or disable both of them.

Also, I love the amount of background clutter in DXMD. Every game I tried since feel so empty.

You know that game size is more about textures being big as fuck and not actual coding, right?
>>

>>
>>383995339
>HR or MD
>great gameplay

I see the hook,but where's the worm?
>>
>>383999336
You are stupid.
With increasing amount of objects and each object having 3 different textures (normal map, depth map, specular map) AND in addition to that all these textures need to be avalible in smaller sizes for lower texture graphic settings this kind of size is unavoidable.
>>
>>383999723

>with all the side content it's rather lenghty.
If anything its the side missions that show the game was cut in half.
They seem to completely not fit with the main narrative to the point they are timed and disappear when you do any main mission.
Its clear they were crammed in after the main narrative was already made by another team.
Also none of they really focus on your new teammates so they just never mesh in properly.
>>
>>383999336
Fuck off reatard.
5 years ago children like you would say more than 5gb is bad coding.

We been stuck to under 100gb for a while now, time to stop reusing textures every 5 meters and im tired of blurry textures and compression artifacts everywhere.
