It's been a couple of years and we STILL don't have a clue what the fuck this game even is. Not even the confusing plot shreds we have, we don't know what genre this game is.

Kojima is a hack now to be honest. But not in an usual sense. He is a talented creator but he is now way too ambitious. MGSV was impossible to make if he would be given total freedom over the project. He would scrap it multiple times.
He's just retired now and Sony brought him in because they can cash a lot on a title with his name slapped on it.
Also the whole "Nobody understood the story meme". I know he makes complex stories but if NOBODY understands it, then maybe something is fucking wrong?

I would be more interested if we were told what kind of GAME this would be, and maybe show some GAMEPLAY features or hell GAMEPLAY footage.
