In my opinion, no. I built a pc in 2014 after quitting gaming for years. I played through New Vegas (which was great), but besides that i ended up playing old rts games and shit, there arent many new interesting games coming out for pc these days. November of 2016 i bought a ps4 and i already own around 30 ps4 games and have lost the last 7 months of my life. Theres always something to play, if your a weeb that is. Persona 5, Nier, Yakuza, Cybersleuth, ratchet and clank, the list goes on.

That would only make it even better for you to get into pc gaming since you can build a really cheap system thats still powerful enough to run games from a few years ago at max settings. There are more classic gems released before 2010 you wouldn't even know what to do with. In fact, you probably wouldn't need to even upgrade your pc if it's somewhat decent right now. You could just jump right in and start with some old school classics. It's up to you, there's literally no reason to not game on your pc if you can. You can even use a controller if you want.

Most of PC's best exclusives are over 10 years old at this point, although they're still really good. I use my PC mostly for older games, modding, emulation, and multiplats. And I guess multiplayer shit like ASSFAGGOTS and FPS's if they're your cup of tea.

Strategy games, cRPGs, MMOs, and MOBAs are exclusive to PC if that's your thing.

As an owner of multiple consoles I can tell you I haven't played a good exclusive since I had a Gamecube, which had a ton of them.
The only exclusive in the foreseeable future that doesn't look like a soulless graphics test for a half-decade old video card is Death Stranding and that's a long ways off from now.
Because of this, I typically look for whichever platform has the most impressive cross-section of multiplats and how well they run on that system, so there is no denying that is PC.

Depends on the genres you like and play.

If you like strategy games of any kind, (tactical, 4x, grand strategy, management), RPGs (both jrpgs and crpgs), FPS and 2d games then yes.
If you like third person games (Cover shooters, souls like, open world a la gta, action and platformers) or sports/racing games, consoles have more titles.

Depends on what are your gaming preferences.
First off, if you're into indie or if you actually like some of the more niche genres that only exist on PC (no way to know whether you do until you try some of those), you're obviously in. The low costs of publishing and freedom of the platform means those have trouble surviving on consoles, unless it's something really popular. Also, more freeform control schemes provided by excessiveness of keyboard benefit weirder games.
Second, depending on how you think of older games, PC might be a goldmine too. Since you say you don't care about graphics much, perhaps it's at least of some interest to you. Windows just so happens to worship backward compatibility and makes regular sacrifices of about 3000 developers to it every day. So, there's a ton of older titles (built up over the years) which either work fine even today, or require some minimum tinkering. These probably have lousy graphics or obsolete mechanics, but then again, it's a scale, so you can pick which year is just too much for you and play everything beyond it.
Obviously, games that benefit from free access to underlying architecture of the machine (ones with lots of mods) have a harder time on consoles.
If you're into titles of consoles of previous generations, it may be a good purchase too. Emulation basically adds games of the console to the collection with some caveats (need massively better machine than the original console and occasional glitches with some titles, where the amount of titles and severity of glitches depends on how advanced emulator is). What is emulated or not depends on complexity of architecture and interest from volunteers. PS3 emulation is only getting decent, whereas Wii U is pretty decent already, PS2 emulation is really good, whereas original Xbox emulation still sucks. Still, a lot of consoles are emulatable. Research well, and you will get a lot of titles out of those.

Newer games come often, but a lot now tend to be shitty ports, still, it's a steady flow of new. With newer titles is actually where you might have less of a reason to pick PC, since, well, it's a steady and decent flow, but consoles have many of those too, and have titles PC doesn't have, just as PC has titles consoles don't have (though not as many, since developers rarely have incentives to stick just to PC as the sole platform if they created a game). Here's where the topic of superior graphics comes out usually, since it's a major advantage of those new titles on PC.
If you like FPS or RTS or 4X or CRPG, those are pretty much only on PC. It's almost the same thing I said about niche genres, only those are not so niche, and restricted mostly by control schemes.
Japanese overall collectively aren't entirely convinced PC gaming exists, whereas Russia just so happens to not believe console gaming exists. One of those produces just a little bit more titles, but anyway, sometimes even countries matter here.
Overall, I doubt many people think of exclusives when they decide to switch to PC, though. One of the advantages of PC is the massive amount of backwards-compatible older games, more than you could ever play, so the need to know what it has that other machines don't is less pressing, since you will have something to play anyway. Thus, the reasons are often either this massive backlog of titles it has, niche or not-so-niche genres that have trouble surviving on consoles, higher graphical fidelity (as long as you have a good GPU) or some ideological differences in how PCs work compared to consoles.
Those are most of the reasons I could think of why I could want to get into PC gaming. I hope this was informative.
