It's literally not. Educate yourself.

They don't have to be related, but it only works if it's done right. Paper Mario has so many things to explore, so many colorful environments and characters, so many little things to do, it's hard not to have fun playing it regardless of the difficulty.

Unfortunately, most games don't have that same magic and charm to them, so more often than not, being easy is highly detrimental.

Nope. A flashcart is a real game cart with a identical silicon that you put in a real console. The difference is that they utilize SD cards/USB for storage so you can shove an entire consoles library on a single cartridge. The games are run EXACTLY as they would a retail cart on real hardware. It is by definition not emulation.
