for me the game was killed by the awful game design and the shitty shoehorned dash mechanic

Honestly this trailer was proof that MN9 was going down the shitter for me

It looked bad. Not as bad as the final product, but not anywhere near as good as the concept art. Like they clearly had no vision other than "It's Mega Man, it's supposed to be good!" The fact they showed it off in the first place just meant they weren't putting care into it

And it proceeded to get worse from there. Also never liked Beck's design since initial reveal
