What do you lads think of emerging genre of movie games like heavy rain and until dawn etc?
>inb4 I like the uncharted dues
get 3 friends, a bunch of booze, and a david cage game and i guarantee you will have a fun night

Unironically my favorite game ever. Sucks monkey cock that I got nobody to discuss it with. Very few people even like it.

emerging might be the wrong word here. On constant life support since its creation might be more accurate.

I thought until dawn, heavy rain sold pretty well enough
Heavy Rain actually pretty good.
everything else from QD was shit.

Really?

Yep. Shit's the digital manifestation of perfection. Close, anyways. The werewolf fights could be better, but that's literally it.

They are alright as long the story is entertaining
I loved both of them ( although I watched gameplay of them since im too lazy to play them ) . Firewatch is great too, But besides these 3 games I cant think of any other similar story games ( maybe telltale )
I think the genre has great potential, but great writers that are interested in games as a storytelling medium are not here yet. Until Dawn is the closest we got to a great movie game.
