It's a game made for fucking kids, give it some slack. The music is beyond comfy and there's a lot of charm in the level design and character interactions. If you don't like the speed, use that Gameshark code that doubles Kirby's speed.

I actually don't know anyone that liked it.

It can be fun to experiment with different mixes, the approach to using 3D graphics for 2D gameplay itself works well, and it's the only Kirby game to implement story scenes right by being minimalist with them and not being shitty pre-rendered video

and while I get autistic about the horrible compression in the FMVs in recent games I also like the flatter, softer colors and lighting more than the generally harsher look in the recent 3D games but I would not use that as a pro for this game

I've been trying to convince /v/ this game was shit for a decade, but everyone has their nostalgia goggles strapped on pretty damn tight.

By the way, City Trial and the Chao Garden are both absolutely shit too.

All Kirby games are kinda slow, but they are also max comfy too. The awesome OST, fun power-ups and nice aesthetics helped too
